This award was developed in 2009 by the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Augusta Magazine to annually highlight ten young professionals (age 25-35) in the Greater Augusta Region. "This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication I've put into my career, professional endeavors, and academic journey. I am ecstatic about the opportunities that lie ahead and am committed to continuing to grow and make a positive impact in my field and in others' lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this adventure. The best is yet to come!"

Polite is currently writing her dissertation on the use of apprenticeships in the nuclear workforce and will receive her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership in 2025.
